We approached the Nike MDS Mercurial Dream Speed 9 film as a study of acceleration through time, where legacy is not referenced but actively transformed. The narrative is built around previous generation Mercurial silhouettes dissolving and reforming into the latest Dream Speed 9, as if each version is a moment in motion rather than a static object.

At the core of the piece is the idea of light as velocity. A single luminous force travels through the space of time, triggering transitions between generations. Each boot emerges, lingers for a fraction, then is pulled forward and reconstituted into the next evolution, creating a continuous chain of motion rather than separate chapters.
