For Makmak Spa, we created a series of three CGI films introducing their new gift cards - each one built around a different interpretation of escape.

Rather than simply showcasing the cards, the films place them within carefully constructed environments inspired by the sensory world of the spa: natural materials, water, architecture, light and space.

Each film follows a simple visual idea, gradually revealing more of the scene and allowing the gift card to become part of a larger experience.

Inside the Project

Find your balance

The film begins with intimate close-ups of natural materials - smooth stones, washed wood, a shell and the gift card - carefully integrated into a sculptural balance. As the camera moves through the details, the full structure is gradually revealed.

Out of office

A gift card rises slowly from underwater before being placed on the edge of an infinity pool. The final top-down shot reveals the immense pool emerging from the surrounding jungle, turning a simple gesture into a moment of complete escape.

A reason to escape

The final film focuses on the ritual of giving. A flowing ribbon animation introduces the gift bag, envelope and gift card, with each element revealed through carefully choreographed CGI to create a refined and tactile gifting experience.
