We created the launch film for makmak as a sensory metaphor for restoration and return. The narrative begins with a dissolved Buddha form, fragmented into elemental materials that drift, shift, and lose cohesion. Through a series of controlled physical transformations, these materials gradually realign and rebuild the figure, each stage reflecting balance, tension, and release.
The motion language is slow and intentional, allowing texture, weight, and interaction to guide the process. Rather than illustrating massage directly, the film invites a more introspective reading, encouraging the viewer to reconnect with their own physical state.
